15.07.2025 Comillas hosts the first in-person EUPeace Training Week

From 8 to 10 July, EUPeace brought together European experts and academics to reflect on the future of higher education in the age of AI.

Comillas was the venue for the EUPeace Training Week, a training event titled "European Higher Education in the Age of AI." This intensive week brought together 21 participants and 9 speakers from EUPeace partner universities.

Over the course of three days, attendees explored the challenges and opportunities that artificial intelligence presents to European higher education. The sessions combined lectures, interactive workshops, and collaborative reflection spaces on topics such as the ethics of AI use, its application in educational settings, and its impact on pedagogical models.

The Training Week enabled not only the exchange of knowledge but also the strengthening of ties between European institutions committed to inclusive, innovative education oriented toward the common good. This event is part of EUPeace’s commitment to providing cutting-edge training to its academic community and promoting a European university connected to contemporary challenges.

From the EUPeace Teaching Staff Academy, Susana García and Eduard López Hortelano coordinated the event alongside the current EUPeace director at Comillas, Teresa Morales.
