16.06.2025 Erasmus+ Unlocked: Student Q&A on Mobility and the EUPeace Alliance at SUM TV

On Wednesday, 28 May, the event “Open Erasmus+ Doors for Me” was held on the University of Mostar Television (SUM TV), organised by journalism students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Through an interactive Q&A session, students had the opportunity to learn firsthand everything they were interested in regarding student mobility, the Erasmus+ program, and the opportunities offered through the EUPeace alliance.
The guest of the event was Dr. Inja Stojkić, Head of the International Relations Office at the University of Mostar, who introduced students to EUPeace – the European University Alliance for Peace, Justice and Inclusive Societies, in which the University of Mostar is actively involved.
The conversation opened up a number of important topics. Students were particularly interested in what EUPeace actually is, what its main mission is, and how it is implemented in practice. Dr. Stojkić explained that the alliance operates through numerous activities connecting the nine universities involved, creating a shared space for learning, projects, and exchange. She also highlighted the different ways in which students can participate – whether through mobility programs, workshops, summer schools, or projects developed within the alliance.
Particular interest was sparked by a story about one of the EUPeace initiatives that showed how international cooperation can inspire and drive concrete changes within the academic community. The discussion also covered the role of the University of Mostar within the alliance, as well as how informed students are about the opportunities EUPeace offers – and how they can be further motivated to get involved.
Finally, upcoming alliance activities were presented, clearly demonstrating to students that not only are the doors to European mobility opening for them, but also the chance to actively take part in shaping the future of education.
