14.07.2025 FOREU4ALL launches as collaborative platform for European university alliances

The Community of Practice, FOREU4ALL, unites all 65 European University Alliances to strengthen cooperation, foster joint learning, and promote innovation across the European higher education landscape.

Building on the legacy of the FOR-EU Forum, FOREU4ALL creates a space for sharing best practices, initiating joint activities, and engaging in policy dialogue with key stakeholders at European, national, and regional levels. The initiative enhances the collective capacity of alliances by promoting transdisciplinary collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and skills across diverse institutions.

In addition to alliance members, FOREU4ALL actively involves student organisations, academic networks, and other key actors from the wider higher education ecosystem. Its goal: to build sustainable connections, raise awareness, and amplify the transformative impact of university alliances across Europe and beyond.

Outreach plays a central role. While university alliances remain at the heart of the initiative, FOREU4ALL is committed to engaging the broader academic community – ensuring that the insights and opportunities generated through these partnerships benefit higher education institutions of all types.

EUPeace actively participates in FOREU4ALL’s General Forum, with Prof. Dr. Evelyn Korn (Chair of the Governing Board of EUPeace) representing the initiative and contributing to key strategic decisions. Additionally, EUPeace engages in several Topical Groups through representatives from its member universities, ensuring a strong voice and collaborative input across the community.
