EUPeace Fund - Second Call for Proposals

Together, as members of EUPeace, we open the second EUPeace Fund Call as a step towards permanently creating an EUPeace academic and administrative community and to generate valuable input towards fine-tuning our EUPeace roadmap. By providing a format for collaboration via EUPeace Fund seed funding, we give participating researchers, educators, students and administrators a tool for experimentation and participation. The EUPeace Fund offers a bottom-up approach to generate information on the interests and needs of our communities.

Eligibility

All employees of EUPeace member universities are eligible to apply. At least three universities jointly apply with a collaborative proposal.
An involvement of students and EUPeace associated partners is possible and can be combined with funding from Erasmus+ mobility grants.

Partner Search
Project coordinators can write to eupeace@uni-marburg.de with their proposed idea and the request for partner matching. The EUPeace team will assist applicants with establishing relevant contacts at member universities to establish a project partnership. Please keep in mind that this should be one of the first steps of your project proposal.

Project Design and Evaluation Criteria

Applications should be clearly related to EUPeace Work Package activities and/or Flagship Actions. Projects may address research, teaching, societal outreach, curriculum and other topics and activities.

Preference will be given to applications that generate added value for future collaboration of the participating member universities in the framework of the EUPeace core activities.

Evaluation Process

Complete proposals will be sorted and prepared for evaluation by the Steering Committee. Proposals will be evaluated based on the quality and innovation potential of the project ideas, e.g. in terms of new exchange formats/tools, new research ideas, digitization, entrepreneurship, ideas for shaping future Europe and global engagement etc. and their clear reference to EUPeace Work Package activities and/or Flagship Actions.
Based on merit and subject to the availability of funds, the Governing Board will decide on the projects to be supported. All applicants will be notified about the result after the decision of the Governing Board.
