EUPeace Cross-WPs Staff Training Week from 6 - 10 October 2025: Building bridges to facilitate mobility

Çukurova University's EUPeace team is pleased to invite participants from EUPeace Alliance members to the first Cross-WPs (WP2, 3 and 4) International Staff Training Week focusing on alliance mobilities.

The main goal of our Cross-WP Staff Training Week (STW) is to map common milestones and deliverables, and develop a concrete road-map to facilitate mobility. Thus, the programme includes exciting intra- and cross-WP workshops and presentations.

There will be various workshops in which colleagues from the WPs 2,3 and 4 will work together in different compositions. It is therefore important that at least one representative from each WP (for WP4 either from IRO or IT) participate from all alliance partners (maximum 4 staff from one institution).

BIP Programme

Online component: Prior to the physical 5-day programme, there will be two online sessions in September to identify pressing matters of WPs 2, 3 and 4 and amplify the quality and effectiveness of the workshop sessions. The details of the online sessions will be announced later.

Physical component (6-10 October 2025): Workshops and discussion sessions will run from Monday to Friday with a complementary social programme that includes a networking dinner and cultural trip to Cappadocia.

Beyond the intersections of WPs 2, 3 and 4 concerning the facilitation of alliance mobilities, the programme offers an opportunity to network and share experiences with other participants from the EUPeace Alliance and get inspired with new ideas for your own work.

Programme highlights

  • definition of mobility and mapping processes for all mobility types
  • discuss relevant milestones, deliverables and their relations 
  • meet various stakeholders participating in relevant processes,
  • identify challenges and opportunities for various mobility forms,
  • discover ways to identify and establish cross WPs networks
  • meet colleagues from WPs of other alliance partners and enjoy Cappadocia together

Optional cultural trip on from Friday afternoon until Saturday

Cappadocia is a 3.5-hours drive from Adana and will be a joint-funded activity, which means participants will need to pay a part of the expenses (120€). Participants will stay in shared rooms in a hotel in Cappadocia on Friday night, so they should make hotel reservations in Adana accordingly. Participants who will join the trip can arrange their return flights either from Kayseri (the Cappadocia hotels arrange shuttle service to Kayseri airport) or they can return to Adana on Saturday and fly back from the Cukurova Airport. The application form for the Cross-WPs 2, 3 and 4 Staff Training Week 2025 will be available here on 1 July. Please submit your application until 10 August  2025!

IMPORTANT: This Staff Week will be organised as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme. You will receive the programme ID along with the formal participation invitation for your local Erasmus+ team to connect your mobility to the respective programme in the Beneficiary Module.
