VEEP—Virtual European Exchange Programme

What is the Virtual European Exchange Programme (VEEP)?
It’s time to embark on your digital journey across Europe!
Discover first-hand the profound diversity of European cultures, from West to East and East to West, by signing up for courses on our bespoke EUPeace Virtual European Exchange Programme (VEEP). Take the opportunity to explore different teaching cultures, forms and styles, and watch your horizons expand from the comfort of your own home.
VEEP offers you, as a student at an EUPeace university, a unique opportunity to complete online courses at other EUPeace partner universities. Through VEEP, you’ll be able to virtually meet and work closely with peers from across Europe. Our courses – drawn from across the academic spectrum – grapple with the international and continental challenges of both today and tomorrow, with questions such as: How can we learn to live sustainably? How do we create and sustain societies that are peaceful, fair, free, and inclusive? How do our own cultural perspectives shape the approaches we take? ...And many more!
The great news is that VEEP is entirely free of charge. You’re exempt from any kind of tuition fee at the host university, and after taking your course (or courses), you’ll receive a transcript of records with grades and ECTS points. And if your virtual experience has piqued your curiosity and whetted your appetite for more, then why not think about an in-person mobility at one of our EUPeace partner universities?
What is the European Track? And how is it connected to the VEEP?
The European Track (EUT) is a certificate for students in our Alliance that you can obtain by completing in person and virtual courses at the EUPeace partner universities. All virtual European Track courses are offered via VEEP. So, if you want to take part in a virtual course at an EUPeace partner institution in order to follow the European Track, please follow the VEEP procedure set out on this page. In other words, VEEP serves, in effect, as the virtual component of the European Track.
Please also familiarize yourself with your university’s specific rules and procedures for collecting European Track points and obtaining EUT certificates. For further information on the European Track, please check out our designated European Track website! Here, you’ll also find specific links to the different university webpages for the European Track.
Are you studying to become a teacher? If so, then please check out our course offer compiled and curated especially for teacher education students here.
Here you’ll find an overview of all virtual and hybrid courses offered within the framework of our virtual exchange programme. For information on how to sign up for and take these courses, please check the table and information below.
