The Peace4All Living Lab at Çukurova University is a student-centered, challenge-based initiative designed to foster innovative and inclusive solutions to regional and global challenges through the lens of peace, justice, and sustainability. At the core of the Living Lab is a three-day hackathon (17–19 October 2025), bringing together interdisciplinary student teams, mentors, and regional stakeholders to co-create solutions addressing key themes such as intercultural dialogue, ethical technology, water scarcity, energy, and social inclusion.
Using a Living Lab methodology, the project combines participatory design, rapid prototyping, and mentorship to transform ideas into actionable solutions. Participants collaborate with actors from academia, civil society, public institutions, and the private sector, ensuring strong regional relevance and real-world applicability. The initiative resulted in the development of eight interdisciplinary projects, ranging from sustainable agriculture and circular economy models to digital tools promoting inclusivity and communication. Selected teams are supported through a structured post-hackathon phase, including mentorship, soft skills training, and opportunities for funding and investment.
Following the hackathon phase, Peace4All continues to support participating teams through a Living Lab acceleration process. A Demo Day in April 2026 will bring student teams together with potential investors and stakeholders, aiming to facilitate project scaling and real-world implementation.
In June 2026, the winning team of the hackathon will participate in an entrepreneurship event organized within the Living Lab framework of the University of Limoges, strengthening international collaboration and knowledge exchange across the EUPeace alliance as a step to realize the internationalization of EUPeace Living Labs.
