Education

Education is at the heart of EUPeace, shaping students and teachers as tomorrow's change agents.
Together with our students, we embed peace, justice, and inclusion into learning.
Through the European Track, School for All, and seamless mobility, we create a new European educational space.
EUPeace prepares a generation ready to transform Europe and beyond.

Education lies at the core of EUPeace’s mission and forms the basis of its most lasting impact. By reshaping curricula together with students, the Alliance equips a new generation of professionals and citizens with the knowledge, skills, creativity, and resilience needed to foster peace, justice, and inclusive societies. The ambition is not only to provide cultural and academic immersion through mobility, but also to instil the awareness that peace and justice demand both professional competence and civic responsibility. Each student, within their own discipline, will learn how their expertise can contribute to building the conditions in which inclusive societies can flourish.

Two flagship activities stand at the centre: the European Track and Joint Programmes. The European Track develops signature EUPeace content and innovative teaching formats available to all students in the Alliance, ensuring they experience interdisciplinary collaboration, intercultural learning, and a deep engagement with the prerequisites for peace and inclusion. Joint Programmes, by contrast, integrate curricula across institutions to create a joint European profile and distinct graduate identity. The Internationalisation of Teacher Education, another flagship initiative, strengthens teachers as multipliers of European values by embedding diversity, intercultural competence, and global citizenship into training, supported by a common “School for All” concept.

EUPeace also advances innovative pedagogies through the Teaching Staff Academy (TSA), promoting new methods, digital literacy, and collaborative learning and teaching formats. Challenge-based learning units, co-supervised Master’s theses, and lifelong learning courses extend the reach of EUPeace beyond traditional study programme structures. Mobility is a cornerstone: the team of mobility experts and advisors enables physical, blended, and virtual exchanges, supported by a Joint Digital Campus, a Buddy System, and International Staff Weeks. This inclusive structure lowers barriers, addresses diverse needs, and ensures that mobility is both more frequent and of higher quality.

Together, these actions weave education, innovation, and inclusiveness into the DNA of the Alliance, preparing students and teachers as future change agents for Europe and beyond.
