In the first phase of the Water4All project, the initial idea was to define a 3-university joint curriculum at masters’ level in the field of water resources management. The first conclusions during the bilateral visits were that, to be innovative, we first had to propose a new tool at the service of the EUPeace alliance using a novel approach for project management. This approach is aimed at different target groups from professors, academic staff, EUPeace authorities, high schools’ actors (teachers and pupils) to the general public (individuals as citizens).
In the frame of the third call, the objectives are now:
-To finalize a common Water4All curriculum in the field of Water resources management through which each student enrolled would spend one semester in each of the two partner universities to obtain a European degree awarded at the EUPeace alliance level,
-To refine the Innovation4all project management tool strategy, and test it internally within each of the 3 universities before being proposed, firstly, as “A new tool for people/society involvement”, and secondly as the main tool for the proposed 3-university curriculum process.
-To propose micro-credential short term courses of between 6 and 30 ECTS in the fields relative to Water ressources management in a wide sense.
This project is made possible through seed funding from the EUPeace Fund, an initial incentive launched to cultivate and develop interest across EUPeace communities in our network; by providing a first format for collaboration, the Fund equips participating researchers, educators, students and administrators with a practical tool for experimentation and active participation, employing a bottom-up approach that generates concrete information on the interests and needs of our communities and informs future collaborative initiatives.
