The EUPeace Alliance opens its new Crisis Conversations series with a timely and forward-looking discussion on the future of Europe’s peace project. At a moment shaped by geopolitical tensions, democratic backsliding, and evolving patterns of conflict, the question of Europe’s role has never been more urgent.

In this inaugural session, Hannah Neumann, Member of the European Parliament and a leading voice on foreign and security policy, and Prof. Dr. Thorsten Bonacker, Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at Philipps-Universität Marburg and Lead of Work Package 6 (Research Hubs and Doctoral Studies) within the EUPeace Alliance, will explore Europe’s responsibilities and opportunities in shaping constructive and peaceful responses to today’s crises.

This event launches a series designed to deepen dialogue between researchers, practitioners, and students across the EUPeace network.
