Internship Pathways: Find the Right Fit for You

There are several ways to complete a teaching internship abroad. Your choice will influence the structure of your stay and potential funding options.

  • Option 1: Short-Term Stay for the Teaching Phase Only
    You travel abroad only for the teaching phase at the host school, while your home university conducts preparation and follow-up seminars. Ideally suited if you have limited time. Funding may vary depending on the duration, but travel grants and mobility stipends may be available.

  • Option 2: Full Internship Module at the Host University
    You complete the entire internship module at the partner university, including preparation, practical training, and reflection sessions. This immersive experience allows you to gain deeper insights into the local education system and benefits from academic and professional support on-site. Scholarships and Erasmus+ funding may be available, depending on the program structure.

  • Option 3: Semester Abroad with Integrated Internship
    The most comprehensive experience: A full semester abroad combined with an internship and university courses.
    This option is typically well-supported by mobility programs like Erasmus+.
