Lifelong Learning
We’d like to warmly invite academic staff across the Alliance to co-create and deliver lifelong learning opportunities that reflect our shared values and respond to the educational and professional needs of Europe’s today and tomorrow.
Any course proposal that aligns with our core values of peace, justice, and inclusive societies, which is future-facing, and which looks to the world beyond academia, would be a valuable addition to our growing programme!
What can you offer?
Lifelong-learning courses may be developed:
- individually by a single institution;
- jointly by multiple partner universities; or
- as adaptations of existing offers or as entirely new initiatives.
Courses typically range from 3 to 30 ECTS and should culminate in assessed competences. Formats can be in-person, hybrid, or fully online, with a strong emphasis on blended and digital delivery.
Development and approval process
To propose a course, please:
- contact the EUPeace team at your institution;
- complete the official EUPeace lifelong learning proposal form, which you can find linked here;
- ensure your offer aligns with institutional approval processes;
- submit it to Dr Robert Craig, WP2 coordinator, at eupeace.wp2@uni-giessen.de.
Support and collaboration
WP2 will assist with networking and coordination, especially for joint offers involving multiple institutions. The Alliance very warmly encourages the development of innovative formats, course stackability, and integration with local cultural and societal contexts.
Recognition and certification
EUPeace is working towards a common recognition framework to ensure portability and transparency of micro-credentials across the Alliance.
