The cross WP 2-3-4-Staff Week hosted by Çukurova University in October 2025 brought together colleagues from across the EUPeace Alliance for several days of focused exchange, reflection and collaborative work.
The primary objective was to create space for colleagues to engage with shared Alliance tools and priorities, align perspectives, and motivate one another to continue developing joint work with clarity and confidence. Rather than centring on organisational structures, the programme concentrated on content, practical challenges and the lived experience of working together within the Alliance.
Shared Tools, Shared Questions, Shared Progress
A central element of the week was the joint review of the EUPeace Course Repository, led collaboratively by WP2 together with WP4. Many participants encountered the platform for the first time and were invited to approach it deliberately from a student perspective: imagining themselves searching for a suitable course, navigating filters and assessing clarity of information. This exercise generated highly valuable staff feedback on usability, terminology, visibility of key information and areas requiring further refinement. The session confirmed both the strong potential of the repository and the importance of continued user-oriented development.
Beyond shared digital tools, discussions addressed concrete cross-cutting tasks that will shape future work across the Alliance. Particular attention was paid to WP3’s internships and placements, including how these opportunities are communicated, supported and embedded within broader educational pathways. Participants also exchanged perspectives on recognition practices, coordination between academic and administrative processes, and the practical “jobs” that need to be kept in mind when designing joint offers – ensuring that future developments remain realistic, coherent and accessible for students and staff alike.

Colleagues were encouraged to familiarise themselves with its structure, reflect on how different audiences might use it, and consider how their own perspectives and expertise could contribute to its further improvement.
A Community Strengthened
By the end of the week, participants left with a stronger shared understanding of ongoing work, clearer awareness of common priorities, and renewed motivation to carry this cooperation forward – grounded in substance, mutual trust and a shared commitment to making the Alliance work well in practice.
