Empowering Educators Across Europe: The EUPeace Sarajevo Online Post-Summer School

The University of Sarajevo hosted the EUPeace “Sarajevo Online Post-Summer School”, connecting students and educators from nine universities across Europe. Over two inspiring days, participants shared ideas, explored inclusive teaching practices, and strengthened cross-cultural cooperation. The event marked another step in EUPeace’s mission to promote peace, justice, and social cohesion through higher education.

As a proud member of the EUPeace Alliance, the University of Sarajevo and the Work Package 3 team organized the “Sarajevo Online Post-Summer School“, which was held on 25 and 26 September this year. This dynamic two-day event focused on improving teacher competences and promoting inclusive and intercultural educational practices. The school was implemented for student teachers and teacher educators from partner universities within the EUPeace Alliance. Participants had the opportunity to explore innovative pedagogical approaches, exchange experiences and best practices, and engage in meaningful dialogue in different institutional and cultural contexts.

Building Bridges Through Inclusive Education

The program was designed to strengthen cooperation between students and lecturers, while supporting the development of sustainable and dynamic practices of the international community. This initiative is part of the broader goals of the EUPeace Alliance, which seeks to promote peace, democratic values, and social cohesion through higher education. By fostering inclusive and transformative learning environments, the alliance has contributed to building resilient education systems and empowering future educators to become active agents of positive change in increasingly diverse and interconnected societies.
