The aim is to deepen our understanding of the Russian-Ukrainian War through multidisciplinary perspectives exploring its historical, political, and cultural roots and impact on global order.

Within the School, you can delve into lectures by professors of a top Ukrainian University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and experts of influential think tanks as well as share your ideas with Ukrainian politicians and international relations professionals.

By the end of our summer school, you will:

– Deepen your understanding of historical roots of the Russia’s War on Ukraine.
– Get geopolitical insights and insights into Russian foreign policy since the USSR’s collapse.
– Be able to discuss the impact of the War in different spheres, including economy and sanctions, culture and art.
– Further develop your skills in ethical thinking and perspective-taking by getting knowledge of the War’s impact on the issues of justice and human rights, and by discussing future global world order.
– Sharpen your skills in analytical writing on everchanging current issues.
