EUPeace guest lecture at SYNMIKRO

Guest lecture in the frame of the EUPeace academic network. Cesare Indiveri is the Head of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biotechnologies Unit at the University of Calabria and Director of the IBIOM Institute at the National Research Council.  His research interests cover several aspects of nutrition and metabolism in health and diseases with particular reference to absorption, distribution and excretion of nutrients and drugs. Cesare Indiveri is also involved in drug-design projects and with his group set up a platform for membrane protein expression, purification and functional characterization in in vitro/in vivo systems.

The University of Marburg is excited to welcome Prof. Indiveri to its Center for Synthetic Microbiology for an in-depth exchange following his lecture “The network of carnitine transporters: Role in cell bioenergetics and human pathology”.
