After five virtual meetings the members of the EUPeace Work Package – Research Hubs and Doctoral Studies met for the first time in-person at Marburg University on 9 October 2024. The meeting was offered as a hybrid format so that members who were not able to attend in-person could participate in the discussions.

The main topic of the meeting were the EUPeace Fellowships, which serve to promote cooperation and mobility, and to stimulate bids for funding by the Research Hubs. The EUPeace Fellows will receive mobility funds from their home institution to do a fellowship at another EUPeace member institution. The meeting discussed the upcoming Fellowship Call, which will presumably open in December 2024.

Further topics were the founding of Creative Spaces in the context of the Research Hubs and a reflection of the first EUPeace year in regards to the Work Package.
