Around 50 participants from our nine partner universities attended our first Teacher Educators Workshop held online on 25 June 2024. The teacher educators had the opportunity to learn about the EUPeace Alliance and share ideas on peace, justice and more inclusive societies. Participants used interactive online tools to collect their thoughts on inclusion in teacher education, universities and schools and, after fruitful discussions, shared their results on an online board. The workshop offered an exchange between all partner universities in English, but also the opportunity to share ideas with colleagues in their native language. Following the intensive discussions, the participants expressed optimism regarding the potential for successful inclusion to drive change towards more inclusive societies. Based on this first workshop, further workshop dates will be offered to meet the needs of teacher educators and to follow up on the discussions of the first workshop.
