EUPeace offers a rich spectrum of opportunities for active engagement across its network. At the organisational level, the EUPeace Fund supports bottom-up collaboration by funding experimental projects involving researchers, educators, students, and administrators. This scheme encourages proposals aligned with key activities of the Alliance, including the Research Hubs, the European Track or Joint Programmes, as well as wider innovation efforts across disciplines.
Students are at the heart of engagement: through Student Challenges, teams can identify campus issues around peace, justice, or inclusion and are supported to co-create and implement impactful solutions. Meanwhile, Student-led Events empower students to organise inclusive, hybrid events that resonate with EUPeace’s core values. At the community-building level, EUPSA, the EUPeace Student Alliance, bridges students across all partner universities, offering hybrid and in-person engagement via events, competitions, workshops, and institutional exchanges, while connecting members with internships, study opportunities, and interdisciplinary networks.
To engage the academic community, EUPeace regularly issues calls for papers and contributions for its conferences, giving researchers and lecturers opportunities to present research, exchange ideas, and contribute to interdisciplinary debates on peace, justice, and inclusive societies. These calls ensure continuous academic participation, linking research output to teaching, collaboration, and wider societal impact.
Together, these avenues—funding calls, creative engagements, student empowerment, and community networks—invite all members to actively shape EUPeace’s journey. Whether through innovation-led projects, building student leadership, or joining transnational networks, involvement today sets the stage for tomorrow’s transformative academic and societal impact.
