Scroll to Social: Enhancing Social Participation in the Digital Age

The “Scroll to Social” project addresses the decline in university students’ participation in social and campus life in the context of increasing digitalization and changing communication habits.
The project approaches this issue as a structural and educational challenge rather than an individual problem, emphasizing the role of universities in fostering inclusive and participatory environments.
The project is coordinated by the Çukurova University Student Club, and implemented in collaboration with AStA (General Student Committee) of Justus Liebig University and the the University of Sarajevo Student Parliament (SPUS). Through workshops, mobility activities, and research processes, the project explores key factors influencing student participation,  including digital wellbeing, communication skills, and civic engagement.

As a result, the “Scroll to Social Toolkit” will be developed as a practical and transferable framework to support student participation and wellbeing across universities.
The project outcomes are planned to be presented at the EUPeace Conference and disseminated across EUPeace campuses.
