In line with the Strategic Action Plan for an Inclusive, International Campus Space, the Mobility Strategy and its flagship actions, EUPeace opens the call for supporting job shadowing and creating
tandems. The objective is to fund mobility of teaching staff, and allow them to network and exchange know-how and best practices in terms of online teaching. This call is for all teaching staff of the EUPeace partner institutions.

What is it?

The programme aims at supporting staff exchanges within the Teaching Staff Academy (TSA), providing support for teaching staff willing to extend their know-how and skills in online teaching, initiating a close bilateral collaboration by shadowing peer experts in another partner institution (job shadowing). If selected and successfully matched, the physical mobilities are fully funded through the Erasmus+ programme.

This blended programme will include:

A virtual briefing of the teaching staff: Pre-mobility virtual session(s) that will prepare the tandem partners for their exchange by specifying structures and defining tandem and individual goals.
One to two physical mobilities per tandem: Each tandem will be encouraged to realise two mobilities, one per tandem partner; the mobilities occur within a certain timeframe with a degree of flexibility.
A virtual debriefing: The debriefing will bring the cohort together once again, facilitate the exchange of experiences, and inform the participants about ways to disseminate their international insights.

For whom?

Teaching staff willing to develop their skills in online teaching.
Newcomers, wanting to learn more about online and/or hybrid teaching, through peer-to peer mentoring.
Teaching staff interested in developing their network and further collaborations within the EUPeace Alliance.
Doctoral candidates involved in teaching activities and employed by the university.

Submission Guidelines

Project submission:

Applicants are invited to submit an expression of interest (around 300 words) outlining their motiva
tion and expected outcomes. The expression of interest should contain the following points:

Motivation and overall objectives
Expected outcomes and impact on a personal and institutional level
Thematic areas relevant to the participation and for collaboration.

Submission Process

Proposals should be submitted via the CollaBridge form.

2-step process:

All applications will be evaluated by the EduTandem task force, and applicants’ profiles will
be matched according to their thematic areas.
After the selection, selected applications will need to apply to the Erasmus + funding, follow
ing their institutions’ rules and procedures.

Eligibility

Only members of partner universities are eligible to submit applications
Research activities are not eligible due to the Erasmus+ framework
Institutional/mobilities criteria from each university may apply
Selected and successfully matched participants will be supported by the EduTandems Task Force in completing the Erasmus+ procedures required by their home institution. Institutional eligibility criteria and administrative requirements may apply at each university.

Timeline

20 November 2026: Deadline to submit applications
December 2026: Matchmaking of the tandems by the EduTandems task force
January 2027: Virtual briefing of the cohort
from February 2027: Start of the mobilities
Summer 2027: Debriefing component
4 weeks after the mobility: Send the report

Reporting

After the programme and mobilities, each participant will be able to choose among these three options:

Submit a written proposal to the task force for further collaboration following the mobility (joint teaching units, VEEP or EUTrack course, etc.)
Submit a written statement of possible multiplying possibilities of EduTandems or Online Teaching in EUPeace
Submit a testimonial to the Mobility Portal
