Exchange students have the opportunity to secure accommodation at the campus residence.

Dormitory prices range between €140 (double room) and €170 (single room).

Our website provides further information and photos of Calabria’s accommodation possibilities.

Student Exchange Mobility

The University of Calabria’s course catalogue allows international students easy access to all available course offers.

Exams are certified according to the local grading system, which is a 30-point scale (marks range from18/30, minimum mark to pass, to 30/30 cum laude), also the ECTS/CFU credits are indicated for the exams passed successfully.

Credits reflect the quantity, while grades assess the quality of the completed work. In order to simplify the procedure of comparing and transferring grades, in a transparent way, from the University of Calabria to other European Universities and vice versa, grading tables are used.

These include the percentage of students that, over the duration of the degree courses, have received “local grades” (or each degree program or group of homogeneous programs offered by exchanging Universities). Grading tables have been organized according to Erasmus general ISCED subject codes.

Fun Fact!

Living “the Italian way” means immersing yourself in a lifestyle that values conviviality, hospitality, tradition, and the beauty of everyday life. The informal greeting is usually two kisses, from right to left, but a simple “ciao” works just fine. The food culture is very strong, and you could easily be invited to have a coffee or go for an aperitif.
