Lifelong Learning with EUPeace
Over the coming years, EUPeace will be offering an ever-growing portfolio of courses for lifelong learners. From the arts and humanities to social sciences, business, law, STEM, and health: we aim to offer attractive, future-oriented courses that combine our commitment to peace, justice, and inclusive societies with a focus on preparing our learners for the jobs markets of today and tomorrow.
Who can participate?
Our courses are aimed at a highly varied target audience. Here at EUPeace, our lifelong learners come from diverse backgrounds, and they may include:
- graduates seeking to expand their skillsets,
- professionals aiming to upskill or reskill,
- individuals pursuing personal growth and development;
- or members of the wider community interested in thematic learning with a clear connection to their lives and livelihoods.
Courses may have specific eligibility criteria depending on the offering institution’s policies and national frameworks — so please do be sure to read the course requirements very carefully before applying!
Course formats and languages
Courses may be delivered in-person, online, or in hybrid formats. However, to promote accessibility, we’ll be investing more and more in the highly flexible possibilities offered by blended and digital formats.
English will be the primary language of instruction, in order to ensure accessibility across the Alliance. However, a selection of the offers will also be available in the different Alliance languages, depending on where the course in question is taking place and who the primary target audience is likely to be.
Fees and funding
Participation fees may apply, especially for external learners who are not enrolled at a partner university. Funding structures for lifelong learning vary by institution, and some offers may be subsidized or even covered by university budgets. Please make sure that you’re fully aware of all and any fees before applying.
EUPeace cannot unfortunately offer any bursaries for participation in lifelong learning courses. If you’re a student, you may be able to participate in a lifelong learning course as part of an Erasmus+ mobility; and your local university international office may be able to offer financial assistance.
Certification
The formal certification of your course will depend on the course structure and institutional practices of the universiti(es) offering the course. Via the contact details given below, please contact the institution(s) providing the course for more information.
