Community as a Solution: Addressing Identity and Mental Health of Second-Gen Migrants

Start: 5 May 2026 10:00
End: 5 May 2026 11:30

The first event of European Diversity Month at EUPeace

In celebration of European Diversity Month, EUPeace will host a series of lectures and webinars in the month of May that focus on various topics of diversity issues.

The first session on the topic of “Community as a Solution: Addressing Identity and Mental Health of Second-Gen Migrants” will take place on 5 May 2026. The event aims at exploring how community-driven action can address the unique mental health and identity challenges faced by second-generation Vietnamese migrants in the Czech Republic.

The impulse lecture will be held by the youth-led initative TAMly, a platform for mental health focused on young people of Vietnamese origin. TAMly will present a case study centred around building a successful Solidarity Project.

No registration required

The session takes place online, organised by the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. We welcome students and staff interested in diversity issues. Registration is not required. Participants can join the lecture via this link.
