ImpactABLE Living Lab is an open innovation ecosystem dedicated to helping build a more inclusive society that recognizes and values the diverse abilities and talents of all people. ImpactABLE aims to co-create clear, accessible, and robust solutions that support the assessment of the social impact of public and private initiatives designed from a systemic perspective to promote the inclusion of persons with disabilities.
To achieve this, the Living Lab brings together key stakeholders from academia, civil society, public administration, and the private sector, with expertise in disability, systems change, and impact measurement. By combining these three areas of knowledge and fostering collaboration among diverse actors, ImpactABLE seeks to develop valuable tools that contribute to a more inclusive society, with particular attention to employment, education, community participation, and other key domains.
The project builds on the successful experience of the think tank of the Social Impact Chair at Comillas Pontifical University, which brings together more than one hundred organizations representing the quadruple helix. It also draws on the extensive research and practical expertise of an interdisciplinary team from the University’s Faculties of Economics and Business Administration and Humanities and Social Sciences.
