Registration now open for the EUPeace Conference 2026!

Registration is now open for the EUPeace Conference 2026, which will take place at the University of Calabria from 28 to 30 September 2026. The event will bring together participants from across Europe and beyond to explore the links between climate change, conflict, migration and health.

The University of Calabria has opened registration for the EUPeace Conference 2026, entitled “Global Warming and its Impact: Connections with Emerging Conflicts, Migrations, and Health Issues”. The conference will take place from 28 to 30 September 2026 and will welcome academics, researchers, students and professionals from different countries.

Addressing Global Challenges

The event will focus on one of the most pressing issues of our time: the impact of climate change and its connections with emerging conflicts, migration movements and global health challenges. A key topic of the conference will be the use of AI-based tools to support analysis, guide decision-making and strengthen evidence-based responses to global warming. Through presentations, discussions and exchanges of experience, participants will have the opportunity to explore these interconnected subjects from a range of disciplinary perspectives.

Supporting International and Interdisciplinary Dialogue

By bringing together experts and stakeholders from different fields and backgrounds, the conference will foster dialogue and collaboration across national and disciplinary boundaries. The event aims to strengthen understanding of complex global challenges and encourage the development of shared approaches to addressing them.

Contributing to the EUPeace Mission

The conference reflects the objectives of the EUPeace Alliance, which promotes academic cooperation and supports the development of more inclusive, sustainable and peaceful societies. The three-day programme will explore the impacts of global warming through keynote lectures, panel discussions and parallel sessions. Particular attention will be given to transforming research into teaching and promoting research-based teaching, while the EUPeace Research Hubs and Creative Spaces will provide opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange and collaboration.

Registration Information

Participants interested in attending are invited to complete the registration form by 30 July 2026. Further information and the registration form are available at: https://www.eupeace.eu/events/eupeace-conference-2026/
