Teaching Staff Academy (TSA)

The EUPeace Teaching Staff Academy – or TSA – aims to foster innovative pedagogies and their integration into curricula. The Teaching Staff Academy functions as the Alliance’s platform for these objectives. It addresses topics such as innovative teaching methods; capacity building for digital literacy, both for local and international collaborative teaching formats; and developing innovative methodologies for “Teaching Europe” within the Alliance.

In this context is organises especially two events: 

• The annual “Teaching Europe” Conference
• The annual Training Week 

For broad involvement and training of the teaching staff, these events, especially the  annual conference on “Teaching Europe” includes students as well.  The objectives of the events are to:

• Share best practices, innovative methods to peers and students through the presentations
• Train peers and students to new methods or techniques through the workshops
• Share the values of the project with teachers, trainers and students of the Alliance universities
• Bring together colleagues and students from various universities and training institutes in Europe
• Create a Europe-wide network on innovative training methods and capacity building on inclusion and diversity
• Widen the cooperation to education/training programmes and offer the possibility to cooperate through national or European funding (Erasmus programme, etc.)
