Have an idea that could bring students together, spark meaningful conversations, celebrate diversity, or create positive change? EUPeace invites students from all nine partner universities to turn their ideas into inspiring student-led events that bring the Alliance’s shared values of peace, justice, and inclusion to life.
“Student-led” means the event is envisioned, shaped, and brought to life by students themselves — though initiatives that also engage staff and the wider community are warmly welcomed. Students have full creative freedom over the format: workshops, seminars, art installations, concerts, panel discussions, intercultural activities, sports events, game nights, or any combination of the above. Events can be organised independently at your own university or in collaboration with students from partner institutions, but every event must include at least one online component — such as live streaming, social media interaction, or an online session — so that students from across the Alliance can take part, wherever they are.
Up to €1,000 in funding is available from EUPeace to support on-site organisational costs. Applications are assessed on criteria including relevance to Alliance goals, accessibility across partner universities, feasibility, and potential for community building.
How to take part
Before applying, get in touch with your local Student-led Events Coordinator to obtain the required go-ahead from your home institution — they’re also happy to help with any questions along the way. Once ready, fill out the application form and send it in before the deadline.
